Problem with TB
2 Attachment(s)
Well i messed up i was putting my greddy elbow back on the car and i put the top right bolt on finger tight, went to tighten it got about 1/4-1/2 turn and the stud broke right off. What should i do, could i take it to have the stud removed, or am i gonna have to buy a new TB.
It seems to be sealed pretty tight, but i don't want to drive it with 3 bolts holding the elbow on. |
wow the exact same stud snapped on me about a week ago...let me know what you end up doing

Yup same thing happend to me a while back. Same stud too. Remove the TB and take a pair of Vise Grips and remove/unscrew the the stus and get new one in there. Or you can use a bolt insted of a stud, like others have done. Simple.

no it just twists out. get it out. dont break the piece sticking out off or it will need to be extracted. if it wont budge spray some pb blaster on it go to the store and get a stud removal socket that will fit that small shank size

If you can not get it out send it to me .As if I need more work .
