Price maintaining a rx7 compared to a piston engine?

I am about to buy a car soon. NEways I was wondering, if I buy a rx-7 in decent shape thats had a rebuild compared to a piston engine(like a gst gsx 2gen.) what will cost more money to maintain??? I have a 3000gt that now had rod knock, but before it was diagnosed with rod knock every month something new would break. I would average about $100-300 repairing it every month.

It cost a lot more then that, actually I guess it really depends on how fast you wanna go and how you drive your car.

You mean what is the price maintaining a high-spirited twin turbo charged race-car for the street (the FD) as opposed to just any old piston ricer?

Or do you mean as opposed to a piston exotic like a Porsche or a Lotus or a Ferrari?

All mods being equal, the FD will likely cost more than an average moded rice-mobile, but probably less than the exotics.

The question is what is the fair comparison?
