pressing out rotor bearings

I always thought that the rotor bearings were a pain to press out. I was bored one day at work and decided to press out my bearing on my fd rotor. The bearings was rusted to begin with so i had no use for it. The bearing came right. Is this normal, on mazdacomps catalog they make it seem impossible to press out. It was a snap witht he right adaptors.

The only thing that's difficult is trying not to jump back when it first goes "GOOOONNNNGGGGG"(if you've ever pressed bearings, you know what I mean). I've NEVER had a problem pressing bearings, especially with the proper mazda tool.

A press and the tool ( part no 49-0813-240 ) or a copy will make it easy . Be sure you start the new one in stright .

I know that noise, i get scared if i dont hear that noise. I was going to buy the mazda tool, but at work we have this front wheel drive bearing tool from OTC that comes with the perfect adaptors. The kit was originally meant to press out front wheel drive wheel bearings on the car.
