Premix with Haltech....help?

I HAVE searched, but on this topic it almost seems the more I read, the less sure I am....there are many different opinions on this....just thought I'd check to see if there is a more definate answer from anybody at this point....what does everyone use for premix and how much? If you could consider two scenarios...one with the OMP (or MOP...I don't want arguments about the name) disabled and the other with it hooked up....I know Haltech doesn't really support the OMP, but if it's there, it wil be working sort of 50% won't it? I also found some threads on modifying the OMP by removig the stepper motor and making it work with the Haltech...but my shop wants nothing to do with that. These guys want to add to my already large rebuild bill, the cost of the Power FC. I've been stubborn so far and told them I don't want to do that and that the Haltech should work...I want to be able to go in there with an exact plan how I'm going to premix and make it work etc....thanks
fyi...mods that would matter here..i've got the bolt ons only --stock fuel delivery, no plans of any extra boost right now, so premixing and decreaseing my octane rating shouldn't be quite as crucial....i always use 94

Thanks guys.....

....(E6K by the way)...

It's cheaper to buy+install a PFC than a Haltech, so I don't know why the cost of the PFC is an issue. AFAIK, there is no way to make the OMP function properly with the Haltech. Having it run at the same oiling rate all of the time would be a bad idea. Either accept the fact that you'll need to premix or go with the cheaper and easier to use PFC....

i run e6k, on my last motor i left the omp in and it does inject some.. With the lastest engine i unplugged the omp (but left it on the car in case i ever decide to switch ecu's.

As far as the premix oil goes, ive used them all from the 5$ 16oz bottle of lucas to the 3$ 32oz bottles of marine tcw3.

Ive gotten lazy with the daily driving and premixing thing, so now i just keep a bottle of the 32 oz tcw3 in the rear bin behind the drivers seat. Its got marks on it so you can guestimate about how much you need per gallon of gas you use. (a little less than 1oz per gallon)

takes me an extra 45 seconds at the pump compaired to not. And most every gas station carrys the 2 stroke oil.

10,000 miles at over 400whp with this motor so far :)

Premixing is cool just for the simple fact that it helps the car not smell like crap because its burning oil that is supposed to be burned as opposed to regular motor oil

Just add 2-stroke oil at ratio of 125:1 (Gas:2Stroke).

Takes only a few seconds at the pump, and your car smells like a lawn-mower!! Very cool!

There is a diagram floating around to make the OMP work with an E11, but no idea if that applies to an E6, and I can't find it at the moment..

I run the Idemitsu mix

great....thanks everyone for the responses....rynberg...maybe I didn't explain myself correctly...I'm not deciding between the E6K or the PFC....the E6K is already in the car which makes it free to stay with it..it's working fine...I don't want to drop another grand on the PFC just to replace an EMS that is already working...it's just this OMP issue....i have no problem premixing...it doesn't bother me...I just wanted some sound advice...and got some...thanks fellas!>.....

lol

my one friend (very eccentric individual) loves the smell of my car burning Marvel Mystery Oil (used WITH the OMP), and let me in on the fact that he used to drive his motorcycle in circles when running a Klotz premix because he loved the smell!
