Ppf?

I'm going to modify my own PPF and would like to know the weak points. Can you guys show me where the PPF cracks?

Thanks.

I have cracked three of them, back when I used to drag race.

Typically they crack (imagine it mounted on the FD) in the bottom middle, and on the two rear sections where it bolts to the diff. I have actually had the top rear portion fall off by itself (the rest of the PPF was still on) when I removed the pair of 21mm nuts.

Jay, I have two extra cryo'ed PPFS coming here to NJ when the movers drop off my stuff. Supposed to be 200% stronger. Lemme know if interested :).

Rich...I plan on modifying the OEM PPF on my FD. I noticed that RE requires you to send your original PPF and speaking with a few rotary mechanics, it seems like all they really do is make the original PPF stronger by welding a few spots. My friend owns a machine shop and my brother is an extremely good welder. I'll have them upgrade my OEM PPF. :D By the way thanks for the offer.

Thanks guys for the info.
