Powerslot slotted discs
 

just wondering if anyone has the powerslot stock size slotted discs on their FD and how they perform. any feedback is appreciated.

I have been checking them out myself. Hopefully...someone will post up.

I have them in my car but they where there from the previous owner, I couldn't tell you how the perform because the rotors look like they need to be changed they constantly make noise so i have not pushed my car aggressively. They sure look nice though

I've had them on my BMW for years with EBC Green Stuff pads. No issues, work well, look good.

I have had them on my FD with Hawk pads for about five years with no issues, good enough for my style of driving.

I have them too and I have a pulse but I'm 99% sure its from the rear rotors which need to be replaced.

One caution of advise to anyone doing rotors is remember the washer for the caliper bolts. When I was installing my powerslots I removed the bolts and The washers stuck to the hub so I didn't even realize there were any. Well in the process of changing the rotors I guess one of the washers fell off and rolled out of sight. After tightening every thing seemed fine until the test drive. While driving straight it was fine until I took my first turn and heard" SCRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRCHHHT" Immediately I knew something was wrong and headed back home to discover a HUGE gash on the backside of one of the brand new rotors. I determined the bolt was making contact and then proceeded to scour my driveway where I eventually found the washer.


It took a couple months of braking to smooth out the gouge on the rotor.

Ah only way to learn though right. Now you know! You probably wont be making that mistake any time soon.

I dont think the slotted vs regular discs make a difference in performance. I just got them because they look nice.

I have them on the front, from what I remember they didnt make rears so I went with racing brakes for the back. They have been working fine.
