Power Window Problem

When the engine is started the windows go up and down without a problem, but when I turn the engine off the windows go down but they are sluggush to come back up. Any suggestions as to what the problem could be?

It's normal. The voltage available to the power window motors is less with the motor off. Just put the windows up while the motor is still running.

Thats what I figured, just wanted to double check and make sure nothing was broken.

Do you have anything that tell you your battery voltage ? ? ? ? You'd be surprised how much it drops when the window is rolled up with just the battery. You might want to look into lubricating the window tracks and rollers as they tend to start drying out over time and it creates allot of work for the window motor. I know nobody likes a Turbo timer, but I find the volt meter feature to be handy in finding failing grounds, battery life and charging system health. If anyone decides they would like to have a volt meter with other features let me know as I have two HKS FAT TT available, one with the FD specific harness and one without. Both have the volt meter feature. Jack
