Power steering line size

Hey guys,

I got an rx7store.net vmount conversion. I sent in my intercooler and radiator, and apparently, if I buy the vmount directly, it would come with a new power steering line, because it doesn't clear the radiator. Well, they didn't include a line with my conversion, so I was just gonna go out and buy some copper piping from Lowes or something. Does anyone know what size the piping to the hoses are? and how long?

Thanks!!

Does anyone know?

as far as copper tubing you only have two size choices 3/8 tubing and 5/16 tubing. I would lean more toward 3/8 (dishwasher size) being that 5/16 copper tubing is not commonly used.
also you gotta make sure its copper tubing not copper pipe. You will also need a flaring tool and get flared fittings. don't use compression fittings they cut into the copper and will leak eventually.

Thanks just what I needed. Do you have any advice on what other types of piping I can use other than copper? I'm getting this stuff at Lowe's or home depot, lol.

One time with my old 89 turbo II my power steering line rotted and broke. I cut the loop and hooked it back up with braided hose (braided fuel line) and it worked flawlessly for 2 years until l i sold it. that would probably be an easier but hacky way to go.
