post your temperature with Greddy smic

As the title said I would like people who have install Greddy smic to post the temperature of the air ,in the summer ,winter, and also in the city with traffic.
I am near to buy one so I would like to know the truth about this ic.
Thanks

It is impossible to make any decision based on other peoples temps. It is much better than the stock intercooler, but by no means perfect. I have seen temps from teens up to around 70 depending on conditions with mine. It also depends a lot on what ducting is used.

IMHO if you want a road / low boost circuit car it is fine. If you want to do drag racing look elsewhere. I'm making over 400rwhp on one (ducted) and temps are fine unless it sees a dyno, drag strip or lots of sustained WOT.

I use my car with stock twins and with stock boost and I would not race my car.
So I am asking temperature values from people who have stock fd.
Here in Greece the summer we have 40+ C so I think that is very high temperature for fd and for this reason I am aloof about this ic.

Then why change it? Aside from looks I supose, it not going to do much for you. At stock boost levels you will lose a little low end and gain very little at the top for about $1K US. I wouldn't upgrade the IC unless you need to.

If you want the stock look go for it, other than that for performance I would get the ASP SMIC or if you have the dollars go with a v-mount..

I like your question. I have owned a Greddy smic and now have the ASP medium.
I have quite a few logged files and would be willing to supply you some data, of course this will take some time.

You will have to look up the ambient temperature for thet dates the logs are recorded in order to get an idea of the temperature drop from the ic. However I do not have data for the temp after the turbo but before the ic, my temps are after the ic. I will provide a website to acquire the temp data for the date of each log. You will also need to pay attention to the boost level as it affects temps.
