It is possible to install a FMIC without removing the front bumper ?

As the title says I would like to know if it is a PITA to install a FMIC without removing my aftermarket bumper (C-West style) because we had a hard time installing it (fitment was not perfect) and I would prefer not to touch it again...

If we remove the stock radiator and fans I think there will be enough room to work. What you guys think ?

You opinion and advices are always appreciated.

Thanks !

I'd be willing to bet that it's a bigger PITA to try it without removing the bumper

If its the greddy FMIC, that front bumper cover will need to come off. I'm not sure about mounting it further back though.

you can install the apexi gt intercooler with bumper on.

been there with a FMIC install. If i were to buy another aftermarket IC it would be a M2 or equiv. med/large stock mount

Its actually really easy to install the apexi fmic with front bumper on. HOwever you can forget it with the greddys. You pretty much have to hack off half your front bumper with the greddy unless you have an aftermarker front bumper.

Assuming your aftermarket bumper is fiberglass, and depending on how long you have had it on the car, it might have taken shape to where you guys mounted it. On a previous car that i owned... the bodykit front was a real PITA the bend around to fit right, then after 6 months of it being on, i needed to take it off, and was worried about the same thing, but it came off and back on with ease.

and you will probably run a greater risk of damaging that front if you leave it on the car when installing that FMIC

Both the Blitz and Apex'i FMICs don't require you to remove the bumper.

Thanks guys, I bought the Apexi GT so I should be ok then :)

I hope relocating the radiator and fans is not a big job...
