Possible BOV problem?? Need opinions!

Alright, prepare to be puzzeled.

My stock BOV works right because it vents between shifts and closes under throttle. However, it's pretty cold here in the winter and I've noticed that when it's really cold out, the BOV vents constantly, even under light acceleration(but there's no loss in power). Also to make things even more strange, when the BOV doesn't vent like this my car will get very hot and sometimes overheat(it's 35 degrees here!!). So now when my BOV isn't venting constantly it's like a warning sign that my engine is running hot....

So, any suggestions? I'm baffeled myself....

Are you sure it's your BOV venting and not your CRV. Under light throttle when there is still vacuum on your boost gauge (tell me you have one) the turbos will be spinning but BOV will bleed most of it off because under light throttle you don't need the boost.
