Porting Service in the North East

where can i get my engine ported nearby? i'm in CT

SLOASFK 08-27-07 06:08 PM

KDR in Bethlehem, PA
IR Performance in Clifton, NJ(reccomended)
JPR in Marlton, NJ

Mind you all 3 have a somewhat legnthy waiting list. I'd put money on IR Performance doing the best job though. Those guys don't take any short cuts, so you can expect to pay a little more to replace any parts that might be worn out that other shops may not ask you to replace.

KDR and JPR are both high quality builders, but IMO, IR Performance edges them out.

I`ll recommend Dave @ KDR... Good People

:) They used to be in Marlton, my bad. I forgot they got a new shop last summer.

Rotarybred, I don't think you can go wrong with any of the three places listed. Both Dave at KDR and Jim at JPR are honest, upstanding guys who have been around this game a long time. If you're interested in a quote on porting your engine, PM me......we offer a limited 1 year warranty on our ported engines, which sets us apart from the other places a bit.

as far as porting goes the guy who has been helpin me out with all the bugs in my engine since i got it recommended KDR as well. i didn't ask him about any other places and i was hoping for something closer. i guess when the time comes (probably over the winter) i'll get the porting done.
