Porting
 

Ok, This is the last time I will bother you all with this. I have searched and called and posted (months ago) with no results. Does anyone know where I can get porting templates. I would like to go with a large street port. I called Attkins and Pineapple and Mazdatrix and no one sells them. Maybe the people I talked to were being ignorant and they do sell them but they told me they do the porting but don't sell templates. I really need to get on with this rebuild (its been 2 mo with my motor apart in my garage and I am afraid of things getting lost over time. Please Please someone point me in the right direction before I give up on porting all together. Thanks for your help.

How do they port the exhaust. Do they have to change out the sleeve or just modify it (grind away at it)

you can also get some at www.racingbeat.com - dont know how good they are but I know they sell them.

Ive heard the mazdatrix templates are not right for our motors, I think they are strictly for 4port motors...
