Plugs and Wires

Ok I need some opinions on plugs and wires. What is a good plug to go with I am running a Power FC and a DP. Would it help to go with a slightly colder plug? If so what ones. I am also wondering what kind of wires you guys are running and how you like them. I need some input ASAP.

Thanks

I say just stick with the stock plugs. I don't think that you will benifit with anyother plugs right now. I don't think that you are running enough mods where cold plugs will be a big difference.

The HKS Iridium plugs work great but not worth the money. Unless you have a very good hookup HKS plugs retali at $35 ea.

Also lots of people use the non platinum plugs since they conduct better than the platinum ones and are cheaper.

I change my plugs every 2-3K so I reallly don't need platinum.

As far as wires XS suggests Magnacore. I have the Racing Beat silicone ones which are ok but definitely there are substitutes. I will probibly use Magnacore ones next with heat sleaves(Earl's).

A lot of people recommend Taylor, MSD, and Accel wires. They cost more or less the same as the OEM NGKs (between $22-35), and should be considerably better. If you intend on changing them plugs and wires yourself, brush up on Steve and Robs sites. I've also got a write-up regarding my forray into the engine conpartment at:
