please say a prayer for my friends RX7

from 1993-1995 there were 179 white FD's built.. there are now 178.. wensday at the illegals he was racing a C5(beating it btw) when someone pulled out, he slammed his brakes and lost the back end a little, the road was dirty at the end and he spun into a pole.. the whole rear end is screwed, the car is totalled for sure..

luckily he is ok and has insurrance but he will probably not get the real worth of the car and only blue book.. He does not have a computer so i thought id post this for him..

moral is, dont race at the illegals, too many ignorant peeps who will cause u trouble..

Its a pity what happened to the car, but I have no sympathy for your friend - racing belongs on a track or at the very least an empty interstate, not a street.

I agree with Viper jr ... it's sad but your friend is the fuckup for racing on the streets and endangering other people, himself, and his car. That's not love for car.

And that number is 177, since Jason Occena decided he should paint his white "Viper jr" if you will, Viper blue.

i agree with u guys that racing on streets is stupid, especially in a 12 sec car, but u know as much as i do that u guys have all done it.. I know you have raced your car on the streets before and therefore you are a hypocrite.. If u really have NEVER EVER raced your car at the illegals or on regular streets u can by all means call my friend dumb.. For those of u who cant say that, u should just be happy you havent been in a wreck and please dont ridicule my friend since you have no right to do so..

I have to agree all this is just unrelated comments. When you street race you know what the results could be, and yet we do it anyway. The post was not about the "shock that this could happen street racing" but the fact that his car is destroyed. I'm sad to see a rx get smashed and it's not like he was doing some unheard of stupid thing when it happened just glad nobody was hurt, that's always the important part. Cars cool or rare as they are just cars.

i did a few times but there is WAY too high risk of accident or something worse. i live in between three drag strips no need to be stupid on streets.

man i know EXACTLY how your friend and you probably feel. about a year ago my brother was racing at the illegals with his 98 typeR with 7,000 miles on it when a cop came out of nowhere and busted him. Car impouned for 30 days and insurance SKY ROCKETED, not to mention it was an $1100 ticket. He kept his car, but still bad things happen when racing at the illegals...

I don't and I never have. For one, I don't see the point in drag racing. Two, I don't see the point in endangering other people and my car on an open public road. Three, I don't see the point in drag racing.
