Please Help (coolant testing)

When you do a champagne test in the coolant system and you have bubbles is the only explanation for this a bad coolant seal in the motor? Is there any other explanation for having bubbles at the filler neck? Thanks guys.

what is a champagne test??

If you put a funnel in the filler neck fill it with coolant and see bubbles people say that there is a bad o ring. I'm trying to figure out if that is the only cause of the bubbles that you see.

Bad coolant seal is the only reason i could think of why air bubbles should be inside your water system,,,,although if theres trapped air inside there some how due to a recent leak or something you could try the refill and reburping the system first. do a search on coolant burping (p.s have you started getting the coolant buzzer on recently and lots of refills?)

The buzzer does come on occasionally and I've been putting a lot of coolant in this thing.

firstly do you know how to burp the water system of all air... (u may need to do a search on here its been covered on here lots) have you had a good search for any sort of water leak, does your car smoke on start up.

Yup.....its you seals...i'm nto sure if the bubble is the reason, but when ur light comes on frequently and you have to fill up constantly then that is seals. Unless you ahve a leak somewhere of course, but thats how it happened to me once a week you'll ahve to put coolant, coupel times a week, once a day, couple times a day, couple times an hour..it will just keep gettign worse so don't try to drive it, i would go get it fixed before it gets to a point were the engine is really bad.

Make sure theres no leaks first, wouldn't want to spend all that money on a tube that has a little hole in it

is another problem just like yours here mate,,,see if you have similar problems
