PLEASE CONFIRM: using JDM motor +JDM ecu on us fd

Hey guys.

I've been searching a lot of threads and doing some research on a JDM swap for this car. Here is the details:

93 fd3s manual

Swapped in JDM motor, ecu, using JDM engine harness and starter harness.

Now I just have to repin the x05 connector and that's it correct ? I have seen the pin outs for the connector but I just want to make sure. Also for anyone doing the swap. I believe the only thing you have to do on the engine harness is LinkedIn the coolant temperature sensor wire and that should be it. My swap 1 + pretty easy with that harness everything clicked in. For anyone doing this setup. Thanks for the help!

Bump for info

you only need to do the repin if your going from AT-MT. otherwise a manual engine harness will plug into a manual car. is your car or the swap you got AT?

Thanks c rex! And the JDM swap was manual and my car was manual. Here is the picture of the x05 connector that won't fit the body harness

Here are the pictures I'm talking about

So the picture on the right is the recall harness. I'm reading I should delete that. And sorry that blue connector so I can basically delete the whole recall harness

the picture on the left looks correct. put the two blue plugs together. whats different about them? im not sure whats going with the picture on the right with the recall harness. cant say im familiar with it.

The picture on the left shows the two blue plugs. The blue connector from the emission harness is too big to fit to the blue connector on the dash side. But the recall harness(second pic) has a blue connector that fits.

i see.... well not sure on what exactly the patch harness is for so.... im not really any help in this situation. =[

best advise i can give is use your original usdm harness. it will work the same on your motor. im not sure why the plugs are different.

Thanks for your help again I appreciate it! I'm going to do a few repenting and see what I can come up with
