Pills and stuff
ok well I just learned why im only boosting 7-6-7 cause I have no pills. Now I also learned that I can use the ball bearing spring valves to by pass the problem. Could I also just buy a boost controller and it would do the same thing??

Yes , Profect B is easy to set up and works well for most cars . The electronic units work better than a ball and spring ,but cost more .

Sorry to bring this up on your post, but has anyone encountered the pills built in the turbo's hard line instead of the rubber lines? Was this possible out here?
|
Alright so profec it is =/ dam it more money!
I think if its built in the turbo's hard line it would melt because it gets pretty hot in there. |
Fatman.....94-95 RX-7's have the restrictor pills built into the outlet nipples on the primary turbo housing. They can't melt since they're made out of metal. It's the 93's that have the restrictor pills in the two vacuum lines.
I had the same problem with my car running the same low boost pattern yours was, and after pulling the lines out; I had the wastegate actuator pill, but not the prespool actuator. I wouldn't waste your money buying a profec B until you are certain on what's causing it. After putting a pill back into the prespool line, my car ran perfect. |

Yea, that's very possible.
