Picture of Greddy Pulley kit?

Does anyone have a picture of an engine with a set of Greddy pullies?I think I got jacked by the local rotary shop. My EGR was throwing a CEL so I purchased a Greddy pulley kit through the shop, block off plates, etc. So they finished the job, but I see no blue pullies or anything that resembles a new pulley set.

Ah man, now I'm fired up. Can anyone verify this before I go to the shop and start a riot?

How exactly will a greddy pulley kit have any affect on a EGR check engine code? I think you need a new shop! And quick. The block-off plates are not going to do anything for you either unless you have a Power FC or resistors in the solenoid plugs.;) except throw more CEL's

Looks like they are for BOV's to me. But that's a GReddy pulley, not the whole kit! ;)

The shop owner said I would require some block off plates because he removed the EGR. I am still throwing a CEL, and I know I would still throw one. So he removed the EGR and charged me $60 for the plates, and $125 for the pulleys. I saw the bastard look at the Greddy catalog and I asked him if they are going to be Greddy and he said yes.

Are we as consumers protected against this kind of crap? I hear of a burou (sp) of bad bussiness.

That sucks man I say you go back and tell him off
Do you have the pictures of the pulleys you bought

I can take them, but I have no digital camera. I will buy one today, I need one anyway. I am going in about two hours to visit his shop. If he decides not to pay up, well, I hate to take it out on his RX, but I am sure he will learn not to fuck with his customers. And to think that I was going to take it there for the single conversion. I'm glad it was only $125, and not $4k or more.

You are worse then he is if you go back and destroy his property. Don't act like the 12 year old you are sounding like. You are protected against stuff like this, however it is not FREE. Lawyers will help you out but you have to pay them as well.

I understand you are mad but acting like a child will only get you into MUCH hotter water and cause you to NOT be driving your car for even longer. Take your chances and TALK to him.( do not be an asshole, people do NOT respond well to that behavior;)) if he doesn't seem cooperative, Talk to a lawyer and have them write a nasty lawyer note;)

If that doesn't work, proceed to taking him to court. But Make sure that you have your car back before you start shit. He can and probably WILL hold onto the car just to be an ass.

Go about this in the correct way and you walk away with your car and a sense of justice being done. Handle it the wrong way and spend your summer in courts fighting about who destroyed whos property. Very LAME!!

Be a man and take your licks, These things happen, not all the time but often enough that you have to let it roll off. Like you said it is ONLY 125 bucks. And that is NOT worth the time in court for destruction of property.

I would suggest contacting the better business bureau if he doesn't cooperate, or possibly your state's attorney general. The attorney general will be willing to help to keep his voter base, and he may threaten the shop with an audit or some other time consuming, and possibly costly, alternative.

Like bigisland said, don't be a shit and damage any of his property. It will most likely come full circle, and it'd be better to take the high road. You don't want any bad karma :)
