Andy, my track dawg in his black FD, but he is in Time Trials, not racing. He is pretty dang fast though :-)

Actually there was this other FD that i saw that Friday night when i went there for the night drags. It was getting pushed out of this good sized trailer that was lined up with some other good sized trailers. Maybe it raced on a different day???

Gosh, the car looks amazing!!!!

Ahh yes, I know the car you are reffering to, and its not an FD :-)
Was a young kid driving and he was very fast, and I talked to the Dad for a while, great guy with good stories about what it took for them to get the car together and to the track to race.

It's a tube-framed chassy with a FD shaped body layed on it, its not even close a production chassy, take a look:

It looks like an FD on the outside, like this:

But looks like this on the inside:

Yep that's her. Yeah i just caught a quick glance of it as i drove by. Thanks for the pics too. You going to be racing over here again anytime soon?

damian 06-12-07 08:36 PM

Dunno about Iowa speedway again this season, but I will be at MAM again soon, NASA Race weekend there coming up at the end of the month :-)

I am actualy having my own event there the week after the nasa race:

Stix37867 06-12-07 08:57 PM

Yeah i might go up there for that if gas prices go down enough. I want to run your findtheline event but i might be at Topeka running the Spec Miata if all goes as planned. We'll see though, usually we're not ready in time...
