Pettit Racing HYBRID HIGH-FLOW TWIN TURBO

Does anybody have any experience with this turbo? My turbos are starting to make a bit of noise that I don't think is a very good noise and I am looking for a good replacement to stock. For $2400 you get a "15-20% improved flow rate". I have an extra core turbo unit laying around so that is no big deal. They also have the hybrid stock twin turbo for $400 less. I am wanting to stay sequential and don't plan on ever modding over 300 rwhp tops. What twin do you guys recommend? How about the 99 spec twins? What is a source for them? Are they better?
thanks

Do you know where I can find any information on them? What changed from the pre-99 turbos? That is not too bad of a price, the dealer wanted like $4500 for the stock turbos back last year when I was just looking.

do a search ... they discussed this before ... there's a link to a site that describes the improvements made to the 99 spec turbos ....

Good luck. I'll probably get an upgraded set of twins down the road too ... i'm really looking into the M2 ballbearing twins ... i heard they are awesome.

99 turbos are a nice set - they are made more efficiently than the 93-95 turbos and can handle boost better than ours too. You can find them for like $2500 some places. BNRSupercars rebuilds your core - he has 2 stages - 1 he upgrades the secondary and his stage 2 he upgrades both turbos - check out his site at bnrsupercars.com - artguy has the M2s and really likes them but they are $3K. By the way, I remember a time when I said I only wanted around 300 rwhp and that's it:D

How should I go about searching for the 99 spec turbo threads? The search feature doesn't allow me to search for 99 because it is less than 3 characters. I know awhile back I have seen threads about the 99 turbos but I couldnt find them because of this search limitation.
thanks

I figure I would probably lose my license pretty quickly if I had more than 300 rwhp. As it is I have a hard enough time only moderately breaking the law :) But you are probably right, after I hit 300 I will keep saying just a little more is ok.
