Performance Spark Plugs? Poor Fuel Economy!

i was wondering about spark plugs. My car burns real rich and i get like 8mpg. I read a previous thread that said you should change plugs to try and burn better. It says in the manual that: dirty or worn spark plugs, igintion coil, low compression, pressure regulator, intake leak.
I have black deposits on my bumper above the exhaust. it smells like raw fuel and the exhaust fumes make my eyes water. so i have no idea please give me some ideas

Your tune is off. If its stock computer then probly a senser if its after market it needs tunning. I doubt if its plugs only.

If you're running that rich, your plugs probably need changed. But your AFRs are probably still pig-rich and that's the root cause of the problem.

Take a good look at the plugs that come out - if one rotor is noticeably worse looking than the other, then you've figured out something is wrong with that one - injectors perhaps.

If you have an aftermarket ECU, you really need some tuning.
