Pcv?????????
Can anybody show me where the heck this thing is and how to remove it. I have the stock R2:scratch:

Large grey and black check valve inline between the oil neck and upper intake manifold. If you are on sequential twins you can see it easier by removing the pressure chamber in front of the intake manifold.

I really need pics im still a noob
|
why do you want to remove it?
|
I want to replace it. my car smokes when I hold the gas at 3.3 rpms it stats to burn oil bad then if i hit it it goes away but now it knocks front to back AKA shakes a bit again if i push the gas a bit it straitens out. I just dont know anymore. Mabee a new turbo?
|
The problem with the pvc is it only works off boost. With the twins these cars are nearly always on boost so it doesn't work. The other vent dumps oil into the primary turbo inlet. Its just a poorly designed system. 1995 and later models didn't even have the pcv. Id eliminate it and get a catch can. May help your smoke. Otherwise you have an oil control ring or turbo pushing oil.

I dont know where the top oil neck nipple goes to any advice?

PCV is inline with that nipple then it goes to the upper intake manifold.

|
the picture Banzai posted is the correct picture. the top oil filler neck nipple in your photo is the purple line in Banzai's photo.
