Pc 680?
 

looking at buying the pc-680 want some feed back I read alot of good and bad, please share your experiences, I have a 55watt CD player and 4 18w clarions soon will install alarm and auto start up? please share your experience or if theres a better battery WITHOUT relocating i have an FMIC so i have some space

With a PC680 you will not be able to let the car sit for more than a week before losing enough cranking power.

Yeah, I agree the PC680 is probably not going to have enough energy stored to keep you happy with your alarm and stuff.

See if the PC925 meets your needs.

there is a new battery from "batcap" the same size as the PC680, it has about the same specs as the optima batteries.

Ive had my PC680 in for a few weeks.
Nice and light, but yeah it doesnt seem to have no where near the capacity of the Optima. No surprises there.

Im worried about shipping it next month, as it could run out of juice during shipping.

Same, had mine in for a few weeks only because of thei high reccomendations I found on this site. A mate of mine works at a battery store and reckons there is a lot of hype to em and don't quite live up to what they state, regarding the deep cycle/crank ability. He also said don't plan on having a huge stereo with it.

However I am very happy with it, looks sweet, no probs so far [touch wood]

It's a worthless POS for people who don't use their FD as a daily.
