Passenger Window rolls down but won't go up..

Sorry bout asking question it may be asked but storms are coming here right now and I have to act fast to roll up my window.. I checked safey switch and everythin.. It used to go up after flickin like 20 times but now it's not going up at all.. I have to find way where i can either manually roll up the window before rain comes.. Please help... Driver side works fine, just the passenger side won't roll up but it will roll down fine...

Are you trying to roll it up from driver side control or passenger? if from driver, lean across and try the passenger. Check the switch on the driver side. Also put your thumb on it, and push towards the center sorta and push it up, thats what made mine work sometimes, good luck.

I am trying to do from either side.. I just have to roll it up all the way before it rains..
seems like there is no power going through passenger side motor but it will roll down fine when window were up.. is there way where i can manually roll the window up?

Listen Up! Use your car battery to operate the window. Pop off your door panel to access the motor. You'll see the wiring harness with about 5 wires in it. You'll need some electrical wire to wrap around your battery posts too. Take these wires and either connect them to the wiring harness or directly to you Passenger side window switch(actually try the window switch first to avoid taking off the door panel). This will give you power to the window so you roll it up. If you have questions, please call me at
(775) 450-9535. This shit happened to me but I did'nt make it before the rain lol, Dan

To add to this thread, it seams to be pretty common for the Passenger side window to stop working or move very slowly. In most cases, it is caused by lack of power to the motor. The wiring harness is the problem. The Easiest way to approach this problem is to buy a 3rd generation wiring diagram/Manual or to download one off of this site. This manual will not only show you where all the wires are located but, also tell you step by step how to fix and repair the problem. Good luck, Dan

After you pop open the door panel. There is a Red and Green wire connector under the plastic cover. Disconnect it. Now I believe if you use the electrical cable that you wrapped around your battery (exactly how tdazmansFD said above) and touch the terminals on the Red and Green wire connector, the windows should roll down or up. If it doenst roll up switch the cables on the connector. Good Luck.

Before you do anything else, do your power mirrors work, how about your windshield wipers? This question is going somewhere...
