Passenger window beltline molding problem.

The passenger side window causes the beltline molding to curl under when the window is lowered. This has been happening for a while now and the molding is worn. Does anyone know where I might find a new one? Also how would I go about removing the old and installing the new one? Thanks for any help.

Hey John. Contact Ray Crowe here on the forum (crowe.ray@aol.com). He'll be able to hook you up w OEM available parts at a good price. That molding piece you describe should be in stock.

Not sure about the removal and or install. But I'll be checking back in on your thread as I have a slightly similar issue on the driver's side. :(

I am not sure exactly what the "belt line molding" is since I don't have a parts manual. I didn't describe the problem very well in my initial post, but what is happening is the rear portion of the inner rubber window gasket is the thing that is curling under when the window is lowered. The curl works its way forward as the window continues to lower. So I guess I need to know the name and part number of that rubber gasket that seals the inner side of the passenger window.
I hope this clears up the question. Thanks again for your help.

I believe that’s part of the door panel, I’m not 100% sure that just that part can be replace, definitely could be wrong. I would still email mr.crowe and ask him, he’s helped me on a few things like that. He’s full of useful information
