Passenger window

FD; My passenger window is not working properly. Seating from passenger side and using the switch, it goes down but it goes up very slow and time to time while going up it stops (I have to keep playing with it), but from driver side pressing the switch, it goes down and goes up very slowly.

Please help!!

Thank You

Take off the door panel, and clean/lubricate the window tracks. Also may want to lube the rubber molding that contacts the window as it goes up.

Cool thanks, mine does close to the same. Just very slow on the drivers side going up.

check the switch plugs for corrosion. i had this problem on mine. just pry the switch out with a small screwdriver.

I have the SAME friggin problem! Purchased a used switch figuring it was the problem, and it does the same thing!

I just popped off the existing switch and coaxed the connecting plug through the same hole and popped in the replacement. Didn't look like any corrosion on there to me.

I haven't taken the door apart yet.

I am VERY interested in the outcome on this.

Any luck solving this problem?

the motor is probably going out.

Take a look at the rubber sealing that it runs across; mines kept getting caught on it (it would collapse inward-going down and outward-going up). I just lubed it up with some lithium grease, and the problem is gone. Now I just have lithium grease all over my windows, hehe.

But, if it's something like that, why does it roll up fine (though a bit slow) from the driver's side every time??

mine does it but it's that stupid seal at the door handle. i have to lube that.
