its a little hard to get to those parts of the TB with a buffing wheel. . . much less your fingers. besides, all the linkage covers a lot of that.

looks GREAT!!!

Looks great! Maybe one of these days I can see that baby in person. Also the TB is more than a bit$h to polish.

I love polished aluminum! Looks great! Ive been doing my own aluminum polishing. Different wet dry sandpaper grades from 180-1000 and mothers polish. Does wonders.

I was wondering if you were going to use some type of coating or are they already coated.. As you probably are aware the shine will diminish with time and exposure to the elements. I had a thread a while back asking about zoop protectant for metals. Im still researching various methods for safe effective hassle free coating of polished alum.

I just got my new 1.5hp buffing motor with 30" shaft from Eastwood a month or so ago. I went hard and bought a ton of gear to upgrade my polishing hardware. I know a lot of FD parts are a pain to get the wheels around so I got a collection of die grinding tools to use along with the new wheel. My smaller wheel was just taking too long and limiting me in terms of parts shape. With my new gear, I'm limited more to the weight of the piece than the shape of it. I can only hold heavy parts so long before I get tired!!!

If anybody in the area wants something done, let me know. We'll be doing side jobs for Car Version so ask them about it if you're in the shop and they'll hold your parts for us to come pick up.
