Part number for clutch starter switch rubber bumper
I am looking for the part number for the little rubberish piece that fits in the circular hole on the clutch pedal itself that depresses the starter switch so the car will start. Mine broke apart finally and i have a business card taped to the pedal now to depress it.
I have searched through mazda Motorsports but the peice I'm looking for doesn't seem to be in the drawings. |
Guy on the forum sells replacements for $5; handle is AlexDimen or something similar. There's a sale thread in the third gen section but it may be a few pages back.

i highly suggest replacing it with a nut and bolt. do that and you will never have to worry about it again.

^Wished I'd have seen that last week. Just finished replacing mine after it disintegrated and fell out like the OP's. Used a repo-hood bumper (cut down a bit) I had sitting on the shelf for an antique car.
