is this part missing?

i took apart my intakes and put them back together .. when i finished the job i noticed an extra clamp .. i think it was supposed to go where the white area is circled .. the clamp is exactly like the one in the green circled area .. when i did try to put the clamp on it didnt seem to want to fit (maybe i just didnt do it right) .. anyways my question is .. is there supposed to be a clamp there? (which would explain why the tube is not connected and holding correctly)

yes there is supposed to be a clamp there. I usually dont take the clamps off the hose they're on but slide it back toward the center of the hose

After ripping apart my intake this week (trying to do a project or so a week here since getting the car) I noticed no clamp on that hose either. The way it links up it looks rather awkward to put a clamp on so I'm probably going to ziptie it when I reassemble stuff.

Does anyone have a picture of that hose with a clamp on it? It doesn't seem to overlap much and I'm not really seeing how the clamp would stay on very well.

hmm its odd i have an extra clamp now .. anyways could that hose being all loose like the cause boost problems? or affect my oil level?

the place you point to is where the clamp should go. what's so odd? just put it back on.

the hose is just the feed from the airbox to the turbo. It should not cause any boose problems. nor should it affect your oil level.
