Paddle shifter wiring via clockspring spare plug?

Hi,
I have a series 8 FD which I want to add paddle shifters to the original Nardi air bag steering wheel. (DCT trans)
The existing clockspring has a vacant 3 pin plug which I could utilize for wiring.
Does anyone know what type of plug & pin this would be or have a plug & tails to suit ?
I'm assuming this vacant plug may have been for radio or cruise buttons on an upmarket version.

Or does anyone know another same era Mazda model with a compatible clockspring that I could pirate parts from a wrecker ?

Regards,

Unfortunately I think you are going to be on your own here. I don't know of anyone that's done any hacking around with the clock spring like that.

May want to browse Ebay listings for parts from other Mazda cars of the same era and look at pictures, I've found stuff like that using that method before.

Good luck,
Dale
