P2M Rear Arms
Has anybody used Phase 2 Motortrend (P2M) rear adjustable arms? The description reads about the same as the others, but these are priced very reasonably and they also have dust covers. https://www.phase2motortrend.com/pro...rtlfd3s-hc.htm My car has Super Now toe and trailing arms, the end links have seen better days. After changing my pillow balls id like to finish off the rear end with new pieces. Ive read the thread about changing the end links out but with these being a Japanese brand im not sure if the threads are the same so not looking to waste $100 or so on something that wont work out. If anybody is familiar with the super now arms that would be helpful also :) |
I have the P2M trailing and toe arms. I put them in on my recent rebuild. So far so good but I have only had the car on the road 6-7 times since the rebuild that was just completed a few months ago. Seem very good in quality and they adjusted easily on the alignment, which I watched at the alignment shop. Time will tell.

You know... You can replace the rod ends on these types of arms... I did that with my old Rotary Extreme trailing and toe links after 50k miles.

Yea, I know. But I had super now arms that i couldnt find any definitive info on thread size. Didnt want to order a bunch of end links I couldnt use.

Why not use a thread gauge? Still have the super nows?
|
Lol. I get it. I’m impatient, lazy. I don’t have any thread gauges. It was easy to click a few buttons online and do a straight swap when the new ones showed up.
I do still have the super now arms and they’ve been for sale for a long while but no bites. Maybe ill check the threads, rebuild them, and get more out of them or keep them for spares. |
