i was doing some research on the power steering mod. After reading a couple of informative threads i now know the best way to do it is to send it to maval. But right now i need to do it the poor mans way. The picture below is how i did it. I just want to make sure i have this right.

No, you need to leave the hard lines alone and loop together the two openings you have circled in blue (where the PS lines would go.)

I also dont think sending it out to marvel is worth what it costs. I've been running mine the poor mans way for some time now without any complaints or problems.

is the picture the correct way to do it?

No....You do not have to loop anything. Search on here and you will find an excellent writeup by a gentleman showing pictures. There is a collar in the LEFT ( where you have looped ) side that should be removed. All four holes receive plugs.

don't forget to weld the quill.

later

i read the team fc3s write up but I am not talking the rack out of the car. I have serched threads on this but every one has their own opinions, from getting the gotham kit to send it to maval. I just want to know how to loop these lines for now untill i buy the maval rack. Does some one have a picture of what loop. Also what is the quill?

to be realistic you tear down the rack and take the piston out that the fluids would push againses when it was power steering well if you take the piston out you and plug all lines and fill with fluid it will have no resistance and will work like a manual just fine

OK guys i am going to pull the rack out to day and take the rack a part and well the quill my self and so on. I have tools and welders i don't know why i was being so lazy.

let us know how you like it afterward, as well as any tips you personally have regarding the modification
