Overheating issue
I've checked the water pump and the thermostat but both seem to be in good working order. My problem is there so muc pressure building up that its pushing out all the water in the reservoir causing it to overheat. Anyone have any other suggestions?

Same thing happend with mine, turned out that the water seals around the engine had gone. Rebuild time for me.

jimmyp281,
When you say its overheating, you are seeing the stock gauge go to "H", or do you have an aftermarket temp gauge? |
mine overheats only when going up hill over 70 mph and yes the stock thermo goes slighty

i have a pfc and i look at the commander. Its also the water thats causing an issue, i put more in and the pressure just shoots it out. Basicly it wont hold it.

Are you sure you aren't just overfilling the system? Its designed to expel extra water/coolant. |
on the pfc im seeing temps get up to 130. I dont think im over filling it. I didnt put any water in untill my coolant light went on. When the light goes on i put in some water. Drive for a bit like only a block and boom light goes on again.
