anyone??
ok so no one?? lol damn thought i would have gotten some help, you guys always know the answers

Put a new thermostat in. NOW. Running the car with no thermostat will certainly cause overheating because it is what is called a bypass system.

First off, do have a temp gauge or are you just seeing the coolant come out of the overflow tank?
Are you using an AST or is it eliminated? What coolant pressure caps are you using? Have you pressure tested the cooling system? |
need help
i have the stock gauge...everything i am using is stock minus the haltech im not sure which cap i am using but i have driving the car since march with no heating issues...i just gave it some thought and realized that my front turbo is blown because on idle its RED AND SO IS MY DOWNPIPE...could that cause the car to overheat?? just a question

Doubtful.
My recommendations: 1. Use an aftermarket temp gauge to verify what temps you are actually seeing 2. Pressure test your cooling system |
more help
im obviously running extremely warm if my over flow bottle it bubbling and spraying coolant out out of no where..anyone have anymore ideas??

https://www.rx7club.com/showpost.php...98&postcount=6 Doing these will help troubleshoot exactly what the problem is.. I'm not saying it is combustion gas. I'm just saying there are a few things which can cause the coolant to push out of the overflow tank. At some point, you are going to have to start troubleshooting the issue with the suggestions in this thread and at least rule out what is not the problem by testing. |
