Os giken twin disc for street use?

So i got a awesome deal on my os giken ts2b twin disc clutch..but i was wondering your guys opinion for street use. I definitely know it will be something to get use too , but what do you guys think of that clutch?

Depends if you care about the clutch not rattling or not.

What do you mean by rattling ?

Multi-plate clutches rattle like unsprung clutches when the clutch pedal is in. But yeah, you can use twin-plate clutches on the street.

They take getting used to but once you get the hang of it and your calf strength goes up, you can drive on it like a normal clutch. The on-off trait they are so known for becomes blurred after a while.

^ All that depends on what multi disc clutch you have. There are multi disc clutches that are more streetable and easier pedal pressure than most single discs. Since you have multiple friction surfaces the pressure plate force can be lower while providing a higher torque capacity. Clutch material will determine the engagement nature.

I have an exedy carbon twin and it is very streetabe aside from the rattle. Which I like.

The OS Giken twin is pretty streetable in my experience. I've installed several.

Don't know about on a FD, but I have a twin disc ORC clutch on my Evo 8 and it's not that bad. It does make a loud rattling noise though.

some twin disks make more noise than others. I have an exedy twin semi-metallic and the only time it makes any noise is when I first start the car up and push the clutch in. Once the car warms just a minute or two I don't ever hear the clutch again.

When you install it I oriented the clutch disks exactly like the manual told me to which I think cuts down on noise.
