OMP question

So I am finishing up putting my car back together and was looking at the simplified sequential diagrama nd noticed that there are supposed to be vaccum hoses on the top of the OMP check valves. Well apparently my car dosent have any. Would this cause any ill effects?? I see where the vaccum hoses would bave to be plumbed from but are they necessary??

It's a key part of the oil injection system - you definitely want to plumb that in. The oil injection system is VERY key to the rotary running right and having a good life.

Thanks alot guys. That info was helpful but I was already aware that the oil injection system is a vital part of the engine but I just wasnt too sure what the vaccum hoses were there for. I guess the last owner just left them uncapped and without vaccum hoses. From the thread you pointed me to I guess it dosent have any ill effects.

You do not need the vacuum hoses at all , this info can be checked by calling Ari. at RP in Texas .So as not to argue with me . Ari. has not used then in years and I have not as well . Others do not use them as well .

Just run them to a vacuum source, but i dont think they have to be.
