is it ok to start car with no brake fluid?
just as the topic states. theres no brake fluid in the system and the rear calipers are off the car. the clutch still has fluid though. does anyone know if starting the car will hurt anything? thanks

i am not sure about this: but i know that the car has the same reservoir for brake fluid and clutch fluid. i dont know how that will affect things, cuz you need to disengage the clutch to start the car.
yup yup, i know what u mean. the brake and clutch fluids are in the same reservoir but they have seperate compartments. this way you can drain either one without disturbing the other. the clutch fluid is still in there
I would not. The Master cylinder might get air in it and those are a bitch to bleed.
As long as you don't pump the brake pedal, starting the car shouldn't cause any problems. Not if pushing in the clutch will cause problems though, since they both have the same reservoir

ok, thanks guys. guess ill wait till i put my calipers back on and fill it up
