Oil spitting out at full throttle??
 

I searched a lot of the thread and couldnt find my solution...I was test driving a FD the other day and wanted to make sure the boost was stable at 10psi at full throttle. Mods consist of AST, radiator, silicone hose job, apexi intake, downpipe and exhaust. When i got back from driving it poped the hood and apeared to be oil that came out near the PCV valve. He said it only happens when you really get on the car. Does anyone recognize this issue. I would really appreciate if someone could help...thanks

loose connection, used silicone hoses on the pcv feed lines, bad pcv valve. . . my car spews oil when i get on it, but thats because the pcv valve is gone, and the filter that was SUPPOSED to be on the end of the vent tube fell off. . . its dirty in there now. . . just gotta get another one.

so if i get a new pcv valve it wouldnt be spitting out out any more?

and where might i be able to purchase one at a mazda dealer?

That's often indicative of turbos that are pressurizing the oil system slightly, and the pressure pushes a little oil up through the filler neck and sprays it out the open nipple. This is sometimes an issue on cars with removed vacuum racks, where the pcv nipple is left open, in those situations oil can be sprayed all over the engine since it doesnt get rerouted back into the intake. Even if it is stock and doesnt leak, this will cause oil to go into the intake, and eventually get burned by the engine, causing smoke.

Is this a major issue, is this car worth buying?

IT means the turbos are tired, but not necessarily that they'll die anytime soon. It may take another year or 2 before they get bad enough to need changed/rebuild. I wouldnt let it hold me back from a purchase, but I would use it to negotiate a couple hundred bucks off the price at least.

i wonder if that means that my oil feed restrictor is too small? man, i even opened it up a little!!!! guess i should open it up some more?

I think the first suspect would be the one way valve in the PCV system. It's probably leaking, and is a simple fix for this problem. Note that there is also one in the brake booster vacuum line. It should also be tested often and replaced from time to time. If this one fails you can't apply the brakes while under boost - you're not strong enough. ;)
