Oil pressure sender thread?

Hi this is a post I made to the UK RX-7 group and the US RX-7 group........

Can anyone tell me the thread specification please for the stock oil
pressure sender?
I want to fit both the stock sender and after market sender (so I can retain
a fully working dash),
by using a take off line and a t-piece from the stock location; obviously I
need a fitting for the
"case" and the t-piece. Has anyone done this and what fittings/adaptors did
you use?

Looking at it this evening it appears to be very close to 1/8 NPT, I have
tried the FSM and the usual
places but with no luck as yet :( I am already running a tapped banjo bolt
from the oil filter assembly
for my oil temp, I appreciate I could run a t-piece from here for oil temp
and oil pressure but then I
remove the oil temp sender from the flow of oil; the way I see it is this is
clearly not an issue for the
pressure sender but has cause for affects on the oil temp sender?

Rgds and thanks

For info I finally found out the size of the thread on the oil pressure sender, its 1/8 BSP tapered. I also managed to find a fitting with a 1/8 BSP male to 1/8 BSP to female with a 1/8 NPT port on the side. This has now allowed me to plumb both my OEM oil pressure sender in and my autometer one. Just about fits down there!

Thanks for the info, Ant. I have been wondering about these threads for a while myself.

Max,
No worries, don't know if you guys will have problems with BSP threads in the US (I know NPT can be a pain in the UK) but if you need any adaptors or fittings let me know and I can try and assist as I now have a supplier for them.
