OIL in manifold in hot side of turbo?????

Well i just got done putting everything back together with the single on and i decided to fire it up. I dont have a down pipe on yet or intercooler piping but i just wanted to make sure she ran ok before i started in on making them. when i fired it up i noticed it smoked more then in the past so after a min. or so i turned it off and looked in the hot side of the turbo and noticed that there is oil in there so i was wondering if thats a normal amount of blow by at start up or if somthing else is wrong now?

if it's not a fresh motor (assembly lube)...something else could be wrong.

make sure your turbo is seeing the correct oil pressure (restrictor in feed line if necessary)...if your feed line is too large, this can push oil past your turbo seals...

If your drain line isn't big enough or vertical enough, this could cause back-up and push oil past your turbo seals.

and sometime tired turbo's just leak oil until they are warmed up.

ps...how loud was this with NO EXHAUST???????????????????????? and how freakin' bad did this smell?
