Oil Level Sensor Installation
 

Does anybody know if it is possible to replace the low oil level sensor in the oil pan without dropping the oil pan while the engine is in the car? Has anybody had to replace this thing before?

I think it might be a tight fit between the oil pan and the subframe. Anybody?

You don't have to drop the pan, there's room between the pan and the subframe. Worst case you can jack the engine up slightly if you need more room.

Do remember to drain the pan though :p: I have been known to do dumb things like that on occasion.
