Oil leak near diff, can't find where
 

Hi, I have oil everywhere near my diff, is there a common place I should check? Checked really fast in a garage because I was in a hurry...

if it aint coming from the diff then its coming from your oil pan..

...??? Diff and oil pan are far from each other...

The differential has two side seals which can leak. I think they usually start to sweat a little and warn you they're going.

The stock differential bushings are oil filled. If the bushing fails it can leak down beside the differential/axle area.

Rear axle seals that leak blow onto the diff and everywhere.
Seals are super cheap from Ray and not hard to install.

Search and you'll find pix etc.

Here's ours -- shop wanted to reabuild the diff.
Forum threads suggested the axle seals, and that was the culprit.
Dry as a bone since changing those out. Like $7 each from Ray Crowe.

ppritchard, mine looks like your picture very much!

Mine was leaking from the front input shaft seal. It was not splattered all over the rear though it was fairly confined to the front of the diff.
