Oil leak
 

I noticed a small oil leak today but now sure what causes it. I don't think I have a stock oil dipstick and found a lot of oil build up around the dip stick . It doesn't go on very tight so im thinking oil is shooting out of the oil tube where the dip stick goes.

Then I see the the drivers side motor mount is cracked. Will a cracked motor mount cause a leak?

I've yet to meet a rotary without an oil leak. LOL

The motor mount arms bolt to the bottom of the motor and help to seal the oil pan. If you've got a crack in the arm it certainly i possible. Only thing you can do is re-seal the pan which isn't an easy task, but when you re-seal it you can add an oil pan brace to help prevent future leaks.
