Oil feed lines for stock twins
 

So I'm planning on running steel braided lines for my oil feed lines, my question is should I run a 6an from the front iron to a y splitter then run two 4ans off of that or would it be better to run 4s all the way?

it would be best to not do what youre asking and use the stock hard lines. why would you want to use a flex line over a hard line. the stock set up contours to the turbos and is sealed with crush washers. theres a no more efficient way to do it. with that, if you do use the braided line then you have to count for chaffing. stainless braided line is very abrasive and with all the vibration and movement, whatever theyre near will be affected....... such as the coolant lines. this isnt a good idea. just use the stock hard lines. if youre going for a "bling factor" then its extra not a good idea.

^Yep. You can't beat the stock hard lines, they don't leak, they fit perfect, and they come for free with the car :).

Why do you want to use braided lines vs the OEM line?

There is a small leak coming from that area so I figured why not change over to the braided lines. I like the look and didn't think it would be that big of a deal. The stock line seams to need a bit of tweaking to get it back and in my experience when hard lines get bent to much they fail. So I figured nip it in the bud.

If your lines require tweaking or provide any difficulty then theres something wrong. Get a new/another set of hard lines.

You can find them in the classified section for sale sometimes, even on ebay for $40. Atkins have them at $85.
