oil in Exhaust....? Safe???

Hi guys...
My second turbo blew a couple weeks back. And spit out lotts and lotts of oil into the exhuast... The turbo is fixed now. And the mechanic used a degreaser in the exhaust and then rinsed with
hot water.
But when starting up and idleing for 1/2 hr it still smoked pretty bad. He said: taking it on the highway for a long trip should burn it out. Is this safe though? Could the oil in the exhaust start on fire?
I have a Borla in the mid-pipe and a Blitz cat-back and a downpipe. Should I start to save for new exhaust parts? Or will the Highway trip work? thanks for the recomendations... jack

I don't think it will start a fire. I had a huge oil leak in my exhaust and drove it for a while until I finally got new ones

RedTT,
How did you know you had a huge leak in your exhaust? There seems to be no way to diagnose if the oil is coming from the turbines or the oil rings on the rotors.

My secondary turbo shaft broke into 2 pieces. One piece went into the exhaust "turbine side" and the other got ground into the
compressor housing. Oil was gushing out the oil passage for the
second turbo. jc
