Oil cooler Question

Just wondering....

Well i need a passenger Oil cooler and I dont want to pay alot f money right now cause im planning to upgrade it in a few months but i need a oil cooler for the passenger side. I found a good deal buts its for the driver side. I know the mounting will be different buts no biggie for me that can be fix...does anyone know if its going to be a problem to use a Drive side oil cooler for the passenger side.

Thanks

It won't work trust me because I have try it for 3 months trying to make fit it won't. also the lines are different lenghts for each side's. your best is to contact Jimmys rx7 in England, he sold one about 3 yrs ago for $120.00 {pounds} But I think the grand total came up to $150.00 including shipping< that's where it hurts. Anyhow the oil cooler only had 20.000 miles <it look brand new. don't trust mazmart he sucker me for 1 which did not worht fixing. And i paid $140.00 for it.

do you mean it won't fit, because by my house a 3rd gen has a mocal oil cooler installed on both driver and passenger side and looks good. i know look isn't the topic, but the mechanic installing it said if you have the $900 for it it is sure functional. i was told that you really didn't need to have two. my car came with one stock, i beleive the r1 and r2's have two. whats the need to have two (better cooling affect)?

i think he meant put a drivers side oil cooler on the passenger side. i think the only reason you would need a second oil cooler is if you do alot of road racing otherwise the stock one should be fine. alot of people want it for added safety.

have you considered an aftermarket unit?
