Oil cooler fin straightening
 

Ok, in a tread there was a company ( i think used to or does aircraft work) that straightens and cleans oil coolers.

anyone know what company that was?

off topic but if you paint the cooler will it negitivly affect the cooling efficency ?

There are special paints designed for radiators and coolers.

where can i get thouse?

Just do a search for "radiator paint" in Google. You'll find plenty of hits.

has anyone used the radiator fin straightener?? Some say it works pretty well.. Just wondering..

do it yourself.. much cheaper

Or use 2 small flat head screwdrivers. That can take forever though.

American Cooler Service, Inc pressure tests after the job plus you get a sticker that certifies your cooler as "FAA Approved".

while i dont mind doing it myself. i have seen thier work and it is absolutely amazing. they look fricken brand new, not like someone straightened them. So i hate to waste money but...
