Is it odd to have only .8 bar boost

I think since my FMIC install I experienced some pressure drop. I still need to install my boost controller, will I be able to get more boost after this Or is there something wrong? Every once in a while it will jump to 1 bar but only on a cool night ( maybe a little boost creep ) So my question is, is everything still running right or do I have some sort of leak. I kinda doubt I have a leak because I still get .8 bar boost out of both turbos.

Depends.
How much boost were you getting before the I/C?
It may very well be the I/C that's causing your pressure drop... Depending on why your boost is now 0.8 will see if your boost controller will be able to compensate for the larger volume that the turbos have to push with the bigger I/C.

If your turbos are maxxed out trying to reach the boost limit set by your controller than adjusting it won't make much difference.

You may very well have a small small leak that causes some leaching of the boost. Having both turbos max out at 0.8 doesn't mean you don't have a leak. The rest of your pressure could just be venting off into air.

So....

1) How much boost were you getting before the install?
2) What are your current boost controller settings?
3) Does your turbo take longer to spool up?
4) Does your car feel slower?

P.S. Can you send me a picture of your car? I wanna see what the Model 5 look like on the '7.

I dont have my boost conroller installed yet, I hope to get it in this week. I was getting almost 1 bar before IC install. I think it could be pressure drop, will the boost controller fix that?
