Anyone who knows if the O2 sensor on the FD is the same as on some other mazda modell?

Or anyone who got the art. nr.?

Did I make myself clear?

art. nr. ?

Seems like everyone just uses the generic Bosch O2 sensor. like $20-25 bucks at your local auto shop.

So I can replace my oem with a bosch? The oem cost 250$ at my local dealer. any art number at the bosch? Has it got the same cable and contact as the oem?

Thanks

here is a pic of the bosch used. you should be able to get it pretty easily...at least here in the us you can. it doesn't have the same connector (that's what you're paying extra for at the dealer) so you'll have to cut off the connector on the harness side and either crimp or solder the sensor.

Steve's site gives a pretty good overview of O2 sensors. I've got one of the single wired Bosch units and from observing it's readings off my Autometer A/F Meter, it seems pretty active.

I just replaced mine with the Bosch 2 days ago. I found out my O2 sensor has been unplugged since I got my car back from Tripoint Engineering a couple months ago.

How does an unplugged O2 affect the car? Just really bad gas mileage?

You whos got other sensors like ford and bosch, You dont have any problems with the emmishion tests???
